How do I join?

Joining is free and simple. Just click “Join Now” and fill out the form. We’ll notify you when your membership has been approved. Average wait time before you are granted membership is one (1) day, depending on your zip code. If you have a question at any time, shoot us an email at cs@gogreenride.com

What is the difference between GoGreenRide and a private car service?

We own our vehicles and hire our own drivers, so we know where our cars have been and we know how our drivers will treat you. You can rest assured that each ride will be the same; our cars will be clean and outfitted for your comfort, and our drivers will be polite and courteous. You’re guaranteed all of this each time and at a price far less than a private car service.

How do I book a ride?

Booking is quick, easy and painless — you can either download our iPhone or Android app, book through our website, or by calling our reservation hotline at (212) 364-2000. Registered users can book now or book later — either way, we’ll be there. After you register, your information is saved, including your favorite pick up and drop off addresses, as well as your payment methods.

When you book, we’ll tell you the approximate pick-up time, travel time, and fare. There are no surprises at the end of your trip.

Why the focus on the environment?

We believe environmentally conscious operations are the way all businesses should operate. In a city full of cars an traffic, why wouldn’t we want to responsible and minimize our impact?

Where does GoGreenRide service?

Currently, GoGreenRide only services the New York City metro area. We only pick up and drop off in the greater New York City area, including all five boroughs, but with some drop off availability to Newark Airport or Westchester County.

Why GoGreenRide?

It’s easy — we’re reliable, convenient, affordable, and operate in an environmentally friendly way. Travel seamlessly from location to location, charge your phone while you catch up on the news on Bloomberg TV.

Do I have to pay a fee to join or pay a monthly service?

Nope. There’s no sign-up or monthly fee for using our service. You only pay for your rides — as you should. GoGreenRide is a membership only service simply to ensure all our members get rides when they want.

Why has my account been suspended?

GoGreenRide prioritizes the safety and respect of our drivers as equally as that of our customers. If there have been multiple negative reports from our drivers regarding inappropriate behavior during a ride or if we have been unable to charge a recent ride to your credit card on file, your account may be suspended. As a result, you’ll be unable to request a ride.

If your account has been suspended and you would like additional details, please let us know by sending an email to cs@gogreenride.com.

Please provide the name and email address on your GoGreenRide account, as well as a picture of your photo ID using the same name as your account, so that a team member may reach out to you.

This additional security measure is an important step to keep our service safe for all.

Why do you ask for my credit card information when I sign up?

When you GoGreenRide, we want it to be quick and convenient. We save your payment profile, so that you can easily pay at the end of your trip without worrying about cash or fumbling to find your credit card.

What is the difference between GoGreenRide and hailing a cab?

With GoGreenRide, you can forget about the hassle of standing in the street, fighting the masses to hail a cab in the middle of cab switching hour, or when it’s raining, or when you don’t feel like going backwards before going forwards in the subway. The only thing comparable to a cab is the pricing.
